How to create a bootable pendrive for XP, Vista, Win 7 and Win 8

Step 1

Insert  your pen drive in Laptop.

Step 2

Go to Start and type cmd in RUN and press ENTER

Step 3

Type  DISKPART  and press ENTER (DISKPART should be in CAPS)

Step 4

Type  LIST  DISK   and press ENTER

It will show all available disk in your system. Disk ‘0’ is usually will be your hard disk. . In my case Disk ‘1’ is the pen drive (This can be different so please make sure about that before proceed)

Step 5

Type  SELECT  DISK  1  and press ENTER

Step 6

Type  CLEAN  and press ENTER

Step 7

Type CREATE  PARTITION  PRIMARY   and press ENTER

Step 8

Type  SELECT  PARTITION  1  and press ENTER

Step 9

Type  ACTIVE  and press ENTER

Step 10

Type FORMAT  FS=NTFS  and press ENTER
Wit till 100%

Step 11

Type  ASSIGN  and press ENTER

Step 12

Type EXIT and press ENTER.
